Glenn Anderson was born in the South side of Chicago,
he became deaf at 7 years old he was ill and was given a drug that saved his life . He earned a bachelor's degree in physiology. Out of 12,000 people he was the only deaf student. He has a wife, Karen Anderson and they had 2 kids Their daughter's name is Danielle and their sons name is Jamal. Some of his goals were well he wanted to extend his education in 1982 and earned his degree in rehab. He succeeded in sports like basketball and track. He was active on campus with student body government, and Buff/Blue newspaper during school. His athletic achievements earned him a spot on the Athletic Hall of Fame. |

In 1982 he earned his degree in rehabilitation counseling, which was greatly recognized as well. After that, he announced he joined the medical with amazing intentions to benefit disabilities like being Deaf. He was the very first African American Deaf man to graduate from such a high standing university, Gaudett University.
